NPHS has approximately 180 students
enrolled in band for grades 9-12. Varsity band consists of between 70 -130
members. The marching band, pep bands and jazz band are comprised of varsity
band members. These groups provide music for sporting events and other
school/community functions. The varsity band also participates in Music Contest
and various honor clinics. The junior varsity and 9th grade bands also do pep
bands and jazz band. Each group performs 3 -5 concerts annually.
