Welcome

Embedding technology in the curriculum of the North Platte Public Schools is an important focus in creating a viable 21st Century School system.  For the past several years technology initiatives have been an important part of NPPS and the future holds more potential.  This site is a communication device that will facilitate conversation, goal setting, and collaboration as the staff of NPPS work to create deployment cycles and plans to integrate technology in the classroom.  

Utilize the side navigation menu to address issues concerning the vision, national standards, and the planning process of the building level technology plan process.  The top navigation menu takes you to a plan template, resources, and a presentation that outlines this process.

Always remember to celebrate our efforts as we work together to develop this important educational framework for our students.

Resources

The site consists of the following:
  • An overall vision of embedding technology in the instructional process.
  • ISTE NETS standards that will guide our decision making process.
  • A series of planning resources that include a building level technology plan template and a resource guide that outlines current access at the hardware and software level along with current system requirements and a technology rubric.
