Saving your project
Button styles.
MyDVD comes with a variety of button styles that can be applied to your menus.

When you save a project, you are not actually saving copies of all the files in the project. You are simply saving a list of the files and their locations on your computer.

Saving a project also saves your project settings, such as menu customizations and any other changes you have made.

Tips

  • Save your project often to avoid losing your work.
  • Save your project to your computer's hard disk (and not your CD or DVD drive). After your project is complete, you will then burn it to disc as described later in this tutorial.
  • By default, a reminder notice will appear when you close the application asking if you would like to save any unfinished projects.
Step-by-step

To save your MyDVD project:
  1. Choose File > Save Project (or File > Save Project As). The Save dialog box appears.
  2. Browse to a location on your computer's hard disk for saving your project.
  3. Enter a name for the project, and then click Save.
